Waiting List Policy

Within each age group, the applications are prioritized as follows: 

1. Sibling families
2. IU Indianapolis employees/students/faculty
3. IU Health employees
4. General public

Within each of these groups, the waitlist is prioritized by the date of your paid application.  A child on the waitlist automatically moves to the next age group upon each birthday. 

The IU Indianapolis Center for Young Children charges a one-time, non-refundable application fee of $50.00 per child to help cover the cost of processing applications and maintaining our waitlist. A child will not be placed on the waitlist until the fee has been paid. Applications remain active for one year from the date of submission. After that time, families may reapply for a non-refundable renewal fee of $25.00 per child.
